Some favorite quotes:
“Creator of the universe, who has set the stars in the heavens and causes the sun to rise and set, shed the light of your wisdom into the darkness of my mind. Fill my thoughts with the loving knowledge of you, that I may bring your light to others. Just as you can make even babies speak your truth, instruct my tongue and guide my pen to convey the wonderful glory of the gospel. Make my intellect sharp, my memory clear, and my words eloquent, so that I may faithfully interpret the mysteries which you have revealed” – Thomas Aquinas (1225 – 1274)
“By his doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption…” (1 Cor. 1.30).

Thanks Matt for the encouragement. Hopefully we will meet. What will you be talking about at ETS?
My paper is entitled “Toward a Theology of Listening: The Philosophical Grounding of a Theology of
Listening in the Ethical Outline of John Frame”

Love the site! It is wonderful to read some good common sense and on the mark Christian topics without hate mongering and extreme nastiness! The Internet can be fun but some folks think they cannot be ’seen’ so no one knows who they are and it does not matter what they say or ow they say it! But the bible tells us we are known by our fruits! God bless – keep up delivering the sweeter fruit! Our world needs it more than ever!

Hi Valentinoswife,
Thanks for much for the kind words. I’m very encouraged. Do come back to visit again.
Celucian Joseph,
i am just wondering whether you are the person presenting a paper at the Society of Biblical Literature conference in November at New Orleans.
If you are the person, please let me know.
Yes I am.
Sounds interesting!
